The Michigan Science Center offers all kinds of interactive stage presentations to explore scientific concepts in a fun way. There is also a spot where volunteers teach one on one scientific concepts through interactive play and puzzles. We usually are too busy exploring the science center and miss out on this part but on this particular day, we were the earliest patrons there and so we sat down and started to explore.
Jacob and Evelyn were very interested in stacking nails while Elijah started to learn coding through a peg board. At first it seemed as though it would be impossible to stack more than one nail on top of another, but soon we learned a little lesson about friction.
