It’s been a while since I’ve been on the Rainbow Baby Blog but I’m ready to chronicle another adventure! What a hard secret to keep! Among all the chaos of our kitchen renovation due to a water damage issue, homeschooling for the first time, becoming a cub scout leader and being in my first trimester and sick all the time; I’m POOPED!
It’s been hard to stay positive, but my family has been my rock as usual. They make me feel sane when I am acting crazy; and they support me in my goals, whatever they may be this month.
The school year is off to a great start as the kids and I went on our first field trip to the Yates Cider Mill last Thursday. Of course my pregnancy brain had me forget my Tula baby carrier and even a jacket for the baby. (Shakes Head) Looks like I need a check list! But every “failure” leads me to a solution, so despite my negativity and swearing at what seems like careless mistakes, life goes on.
This is the beginning of a few journeys for our family and I can’t wait to tell you about them as the year goes on. Best part about homeschooling? I am really understanding where my kids are at in their knowledge of the world and experiencing a home birth and all the learning about baby development are perfect home school science fare. Life is good despite the hiccups and I hope to see you back to read more!!!
