Discovering Detroit

Today we planned a trip to Detroit for Jacob’s birthday🎂.  Since he’s an amazing artist and is interested in Egypt, the DIA was a great choice.

Rainbow Baby is learning to walk and so for a while she was walking with the stroller.

Here she is checking out the Moccasins in the Native American exhibit.

A pic with my homegirl Mary, known by her images breastfeeding the baby Jesus.

Yvette was pointing at statues and fussing when she couldn’t see. Thank God I had two carriers with me!

Below: the beautiful front entrance with these amazing statues.

Below: The Qline that goes down Woodward was free to ride and goes up and down Woodward. We took it for free to Atomic Chicken, and then again to Campus Martius where we spent some time at the beach for a while.

It was a great day in Detroit celebrating my oldest turning nine.
